DynoDon
Leeds were battered though. Hitting the woodwork twice, two goals off the line, a one-on-one missed. It was just that sort of night for Rovers. The Leeds players won't be looking forward to Rovers in the play-offs. The fans are quite likely to think themselves Champions of Europe again so the fall will be more spectacular. Woodbine
The ironic thing is that since wise left to join newcastle their season has faded badly otherwise they would have probably got promotion.
BasilRathbon
Just when you thought it had gone quiet, more hilarity from the deluded clowns that run Leeds United. "Leeds United chief executive Shaun Harvey has defended the club's decision not to renew their commentary deal with BBC Radio Leeds. From next season BBC Radio Leeds will no longer be able to broadcast league matches, meaning fans cannot hear the games on a normal FM or AM radio. "We do not feel Radio Leeds' offer valued the club correctly," Harvey told BBC Radio Leeds. "We're in the top 10 clubs in the country, we want that to be reflected." " http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/teams/l/leeds_united/7334562.stm Leeds United are currently 50th in the league pyramid.:hihi:

plekhanov
They aren't even in the top 10 by attendance, by what possible standard is this Harvey bloke judging Leed's status?
Baz1
The ironic thing is that since wise left to join newcastle their season has faded badly otherwise they would have probably got promotion. I think it began to fade when Poyet joined Spurs and Wise realised his ambitions lay elsewhere- together they were a team, when one left, the other followed suit. plekhanov
Perhaps he means the debt league, anyone know where Leeds stand in that at the moment?
WYEXILE
Debt free, but don't own our ground so it's not all rosy. And no, we're not in the top 10 attendance wise, but we are 15th out of 92 which isn't bad for a Div 3 club.
