I think so to, but having asked around that is how its work.

The police found it, we had a letter from a firm on the parkway to say they are an authorised contractor for the police in vehicle recovery, its £150 to get it out! plus £10 a day while its been there. He has got a heavy duty chain, at the house it was stolen from there was nowhere to chain it so he put it down the drive out of view of the road, and thanks for the gps tip, that's a brill idea.

update. bike found and in one piece. so third time lucky!!!!!!!!!!!!!

my son had his moped stolen today, for the third time!! in 2 years, unbelievably he got it back the first two times, once stolen from a locked garage, once outside his house when he just popped back to get something, and now tonight, on Granville road, stolen about 4 pm. I often collect these and do go the pound each week with bedding from the shop, the pound are no longer taking double duvets at all due to size and washing, but do accept single when they have space. x
