  1. Just for your information, the question I asked before was about being unregistered. This is more to do with the doctor in question, once being registered to practice, and since 2012 no longer has a license to practice. I only found this information out Friday, but is there any way to check a doctor's employment history?
  2. My mum had a tribunal, and the doctor who performed the case, was always on the side of atos. Well that's not the major concern, I have checked this person's crudentials, and up to 2012 they held a license to practice. After this date the license to practice is no longer, but they are still allowed to be called a gp. Does anyone know what could trigger this change, any help appreciated.
  3. Good luck, hope you all have a great day
  4. Sad but true, the benefits trap, where its cost effective to keep two properties going rather than have one. Two people on dla and esa, move in together and lose nearly £150 off their combined benefits. The system encourages fraud, and doesn't address faults in the system
  5. Tax credits are being cut to make sure pensioners keep all their benefits. I think increasing the minimum wage would make more sense as less people would need tax credits. No wonder Osbourne didn't want to tell anyone how he wanted to slash 12 billion from the welfare bill. Then they are on about introducing another tax cut. Labour needs to stand up to these posh bullies and stop agreeing with the austerity measures. Thats why SNP did so well, they had a clear message
  6. What else does a registration plate require to be of any use? Answers on a postcard. Imagine a cyclist mowed down by a bus, his identity has been shredded or covered in blood. A registration would make it easier to identify them. A cyclists cuts people up at a junction, and causes a major accident. Cyclist rides off, at least with some form of registration cyclist would be easier to find. There's good and bad drivers, same as cyclists, in terms of accidents if people knew (cyclists mainly) they could be traced, they may ride more carefully. Sorry bout late reply had to get the postcard
  7. I think personally a reg plate would be a good idea, same for mobiliy scooters that travel on the road, at least it would be easier to find people. Also believe drivers who text or use their phones when driving, should be given a instant ban, for a couple of weeks
  8. I had a bad driver the other day, I got off the bus at Tesco on Infirmary road, and there where three busses parked up at the stop. I crossed the road, and a car turned the corner, and nearly ran me over. I held my hand up apologetically, but he gave me the dirtiest look, and said he had indicated. I told him I was not Superman, and wasn't blessed with x-ray vision that let me see through buses. I also have had good drivers, who let you cross the road. I sometimes people would learn that an extra 20 seconds on a journey, may not change the driver's life much, but may help save someone else's.
  9. Tell me off for being a bit silly, but if you give no money whatsoever, or food, then what do you expect them to do. Surely stopping them coming in the first place is the best idea, but expecting people to live off nothing can never be right.
  10. Shouldn't voting be made more simple and fairer to everyone
  11. The state does not provide when a person has been sanctioned, it also takes ages to process claims ---------- Post added 15-05-2015 at 09:26 ---------- I would say though giving money would be a no no, offer food but nothing else
  12. In truth if my vote felt like it made a difference, I'd have voted more than I did before. I did vote Labour, but in Sheffield South East this was a guaranteed seat, so even if I didn't bother my MP would have still got in. I voted this time to stop the Tories, didn't work though. If you live in a stronghold, then a vote becomes worthless. Something has to change, the system worked when there where two main parties, but now you six or seven parties increasing their vote share, but receiving no reward.
  13. That feels like the government we should have. Everyone's vote seems to count in this system. As it stands Greens, and other minority parties would hardly ever get more than 5 mps.
  14. Don't think he'll reveal what he wants everyone to vote in a referendum, so whatever way the vote goes he can take credit. Whether his party can stay unified over Europe is another matter. This is the one thing I agree with tories on, should be our choice to be in Europe.
  15. Why are you acting puzzled by my posts which is not making me look silly as you probably intend, It just means you are deliberately misreading them
  16. Begging and thieving are different, unless its aggressive begging.
  17. If an MP dies does that trigger a bi election? ---------- Post added 14-05-2015 at 21:43 ---------- Tongue in cheek, and a hypothetical example. Couldn't afford to buy the forum
  18. To be honest, probably not but I'd admit that it was wrong. Labour lost it themselves anyway, they should have had message of hope, but it was virtually the same message as the Tories. Still think we need some real reform for the next election. Ukip had more votes than SNP, and got one MP. No fan of Farage but his party were hard done too.
  19. It should count for something, but what if Labour always win the seat. I want your vote to count as much as mine, but like mine it may be just tokenistic
  20. If there only working a couple of hours for you, think you should pay more than minimum wage, so they can afford to travel to the place they clean. Think £10 is reasonable myself.
  21. Got to accept it, don't think they'll last 5 years though. I just wish Labour would become as strong as SNP.
  22. I Did say it was tongue in cheek. I vote labour, but living in Sheffield if I was a Conservative my vote would count for little. Shouldn't everyones vote made to be worth something.
  23. Some form of proportional representation, or maybe people should have to nominate two candidates. The result can not be changed, but something has to change with system, as we have too many parties for the current system to work. The next election, the system has to change.
