Round here, it's mostly local kids that I know, so it's fun pretending not to recognise them behind the face paint and dracula teeth. A "trick" is usually just an eggshell finish to the front door or a water bomb - nowt really serious. Those wide-brimmed witches' hats keep 'em dry. So it's not just me that stocks up on mini chocolate bars. One of these years I'm going to get just enough so I don't end up having to eat the leftovers [sigh!]. Have tried satsumas only to find them, next morning, discarded out front. I resisted for years and years, and then I became a parent.
