i went couldn't make it till late due to work an got there about 11.45 by which time just about everyone had packed up and gone and the few that hadn't were just in the middle of doing it , rubbish considering it was supposed to finish at 1.00 . It would be good if we could continue to have a car boot sale in sheffield at this time of year on hard standing say here or the one that was in town , i think they would do well now there is no competition

I went as a buyer to the tesco one it was pants , loads of empty spaces and the ones that were there had just the normal carboot rubbish ( just my opinion) wish i,d stayed in bed !

i,ve seen a large tench in there a few years ago and i also know of a 2 1/2lb bream in there as one of my friends released it in there as it came from a garden pond that was being filled in

Anyone a bit younger remember party lines ? its where you had to share the phone line with someone else and when they were using it you couldn,t , god knows what would have happened in an emergency ,and it seems everytime i wanted to phone my friends the woman down the road was always on the phone for hours at a time which as a young sprog used to wind me up so in the end i used to tell her in no uncertain terms to hurry up and put the phone down , which she never did she just then left the phone off the hook so we couldn,t use it all resulting in my dad having to go down the road to sort it out and me getting a clip , aaaahhhh the good old days !

just been to tesco car boot and the one at wellington street , if you,re reading this and thinking about going stay in bed , i repeat STAY IN BED , like the previous person said 8 or 9 cars at tesco with poor stuff for sale and only 3 cars and a van at wellington street
