Had the exact same ticket. I did it the other way round, ate at Pizza Hut and then went to the cinema not realising they are different car parks and also any time limits. I argued the point stating I had used their services. Basically said as it's a free car park, by me being there you have no loss of earnings so can't claim for anything. In the end the relented and just said as a gesture of goodwill they will waive the ticket. As I'm sure everyone else will tell you. Sounds like any team would be happy to have you John, only one person making out like they are Brian Lara around here. On the basis DWCC haven't played at a great standard for quite a while (that meant as no insult at all, all teams are set up to cater for different levels of cricket) and you were playing them only a couple of years ago I don't think you are quite up to the standard you think you are. If you are up to any sort of standard, teams would know you are on the lookout as they would know your name. Think you need to reign yourself in a bit! And if you are on about the same opener as I assume you are, how you score your runs is irrelevant and he certainly scores enough! Good luck for finding some new recruits, its certainly not an easy task!

Ben Calveley, England The reason the bowls are sprayed is to mark them as touchers. These are bowls which, because they have touched the jack, can not be knocked out of play by hitting them into the ditch. The spray is more accurite than what is used in most indoor bowls clubs which is chalk.

No problem. Ice Sheffield does have some parking but probably not worth the hassle for the sake of a 30 second walk. Ice Sheffield may even open up the field (Don Valley Bowl) which would make even more space at Ice Sheffield. Kieron

Only ever had one once, tasted like anything you would put in the oven from frozen. Much better off nipping down to Asda and getting a create your own for probably 1/3rd of the price with much more topping that tastes much nicer.

Advice on next steps appreciated please. I parked outside of a marked bay at Centertainment due to booking tickets at the same time as Disney on ice was on so no spaces available. Had a ticket on the screen when I came out (as expected). I got the POPLA reference number and applied to them. They have come back today and refused my appeal on the ground the parking company submitted evidence that the rules was signposted and also said that the charge of £100 was justfiable. Is that the end of it? Do I now have to pay up? Should I ignore/write to the parking comapny? Asked for a reduced charge? Wait for a court notice or what? Any help apprecaited! Kieron

I'm been a customer and a forum member for a few years now. Please can I add that do not get lurred into buying fireworks from say JTF that look big. They are full of packaging and are low grade fireworks compared to Galactic. In fireworks terms, it really is all about whats on the inside and not on the out!
