  5. Yeah a older dog is now an option, she said she wanted a pup because she wanted it to grow up with the great-grandchildren and be family friendly but as explained to me no dog would be rehomed into the family if it wouldn't be right for a family. She isn't old and still is quite fit and healthy but not as fit and healthy as she was when she had a pup, so yeah we have been swayed to looking for a older dog, not to old. Thankyou, lets hope we find a lovely doggy to come into the family soon.
  6. Thanks, i am going to contact the rescue centre and see if a little dog wants a home rather than looking just for a pup.
  7. Hi pet lovers Sadly last week my nan lost her dog of 15 years, he wasn't just their dog he was like a son to them. I was talking to her yesterday and she was just saying how strange it is having nothing to greet you when you walk in the door and how different the house feels and how she felt that taking the dog for a walk was often the only exercise she got on a daily basis, and she said that although they don't want to replace "buster" she feels that she is still young enough and well enough to raise a pup. I'm not a dog owner so i don't really understand what she is saying, i just have the kids to greet me at the door....lol We have decided (all the grandchildren) to buy her a westie although now because "buster" was a rescued pup who just happened to land himself at my nans we don't know where to start looking??? we don't have a clue, rescue centres is our first choice but will they have pups? Any help would be great
  8. So why not save yourself the hassle and stress and just go into the store??? I got myself so stressed with asda that i complained when the messed up yet another order, they added £30 onto my account as a good will gesture, might be worth a letter to head office.
  9. My friend takes her 18month to the sheffield united acadamy on saturday mornings, that is a class from 18months. Not sure of the times but i could find out
  10. I know everyone is suprised how quickly i chose my dress, i KNEW it was the one because every other one i try on i was just comparing them all to that one...... i feel so pleased now and i think its made it sink in that i am actually going to be getting married.
  11. what does she charge? and how often does she come to you?
  12. I have to agree with the vtech babys first steps walker, it has been the best thing that we have bought. My son used his to play with and look at the lights, then he learnt to walk with it after his first birthday and now he still pushes it around everywhere with him, its a toy he still hasn't grown out of (although his sister is quickly eyeing it up for when she learns to walk)
  13. anyone know one, after wedding dress buying yesterday i realised i want to be in brilliant shape and look amazing........ not just "oh i will do" For those of you that have used personal trainers are they for the people who are already fit and just need to tone up or for people like me, just had a baby....don't have time for gym and eat what i can when baby sleeps, i really do need a change and i was going to ask the hubby to be to buy me training sesssions for xmas. Its that kick up the bum and motivation i need and i think a trainer can do that for me.
  14. Thanks everyone....... one dress now purchased... and i LOVE it, knew it was the one. we went to Bridal Affairs in rotherham and a few others around that area, but Bridal Affairs was the better and the staff fantastic.
  15. thanks for that i have rang round all the places that you listed and got a good idea of their price range also going to go to the sale at blissfull daze. got an appointment at 1pm in rotherham
