Any idea why the refuse to switch them 1-2-1 at Post Offices?  PO staff I speak to don't know - perhaps you do?

That's probably why they decided to stop honouring people who had bought 1st class stamps a while ago, and now insist they only sell those with bar-codes things on them and are still refusing to switch the old ones 1-2-1 at Post Offices.  No doubt all new ones  have "use-by" dates we can't see and aren't told about, and after a while they'll tell us the older ones are worthless after a certain date soon.

Similar story to when many years ago I bought people Meadowhell cards for Xmas a few months early - little did I know they had "use-by" dates of a year - causing much distress later to recipients.  A painfull lesson.

I refuse to count any chickens until they are well fried and delivered to me on a plate!  Many many games to go, and as the man said... "the road is long, with many a winding turn, that leads us to......".  Keep fingers and anything else crossed, and we'll see!

We could try transporting them to Australia again.  After all, they are advertising for people from the UK to go there and start new lives over there.  Surely a deal could be done - there is not even a language barrier!

Much quieter night than I expected in Padders Bar - quality rather than quantity though!  Must stay sober enough to get home though!       Perhaps!

Interesting.  With all the time and effort being put into recycling, I would have thought that this could be repurposed  - cheap fatburgers perhaps.  Some competition for various fast fat food merchants maybe??

Rows starting?  I don't see why that should happen.  We're going up automatically, so we'll still be the top team in Sheffield, irrespective of which league you end up in!  Happy new Year!

well there are burglaries for starters, and most car crimes  (unless you have already got many witnesses, video footage etc) - all you get is a crime number
