As one who is old enough to have seen him play for the Blades - thanks Keith for your service to us - both at Centre Back and as holding midfielder - a steady player and a great influence in our journey from the depths of Div 4 to the heights of Div 1 in the 70's. RIP!

There is a move not to make it a one-off Bank Holiday (that would make sense - we only tend to have coronations every 75 years or so!), but to move the working people's May Day Bank Holiday instead a week, and merge it with him getting a crown.
Two objections - why move the long-standing holiday in the first place and merge it with a royal party? Many people would wish to celebate both - why have them on the same day. Secondly, we have far fewer Bank Holidays than other countries, so one for Charlie boy to get a new hat could be a one-off that we could all enjoy as well as the traditional one.

I thought he would have done well at West Brom...be interesting to see if he gets another opportunity elsewhere.....perhaps he should never have left Wednesday...!
Don't forget - he only left United because he'd been promised funds that never arrived.

Steve Bruce and his team have just been shown the door at West Brom

In my youth, on Saturday mornings I'd get together with my mates and choose football teams from our respective card collections (buuble-gum I think) to play each other. We'd have our first teams etc, then second teams and so on. We took it seriously, with points for goals and other things that have gone with the mists of time. Although we kept the cards, if one of us was out of keepers and another of defenders for example, we'd "loan" players to each other for that week.
Why am I mentioning this? Well, we've just played Brum without 7 defenders (Ahmedhodzic, Clark, Robinson, Stevens, Lowe, Osborn, and O'Connell). We put another, Bogle, on the bench who is only just back from a long injury lay-off, and had to play a striker in defence to make the numbers up! In the meantime, we had 3 fit keepers to choose from, and 6 strikers available.
Now I'm not suggesting anything similar - it's just an odd thought that crossed my mind!

I was going to ask Padders if he could put a dart board in Padders Bar, as I can only spend so long on a crossword when no-body else is in to talk to, and practicing on a board I find theraputic (although I don't get any better at darts!) ............perhaps I'll wait until he's in a better mood.

We ventured out last week, first time since lock down.
We were shocked that the taxi home charged 1.5 times the fare getting into town.
City cars said that they charge time and a half at weekends, but this was not mentioned on the phone.
Is this correct, when did they start charging time and a half without warning?
Not sure about what you are saying - was it not weekend when you went out, but was when you returned?
Glad you decided you could go out after lockdown - but sadly prices etc have changed in the meantime.

If it works, don't fix it!
Assuming that it does work, all you need to do is change the text colour of the cells you want hidden to white!

Been at KFC regular - often find delivery drivers waiting for meals to be ready for them .... and see bags of food ready for other delivery drivers to pick up., who havent turned up yet. Few times waited over 10 mins for my food... and those packs haven't been picked up - must be cold by the time they get there!

You decide today's games.
Sheffield Utd v Rotherham Utd (2-0)
Barnsley v Portsmouth (0-2)
Plymouth v Sheffield Wednesday (3 - 1)
Hartlepool v Doncaster (0 - 2)
Sounds about right to me!

She should have gone to BDTBL - and seen some real football!

What will be interesting is how many of Potters back-room go with him. If Clelsea really see him as a long term leader, then they will want all his team of coaches etc with him (and it would leave a huge hole for Brighton to fill)- if not, well saying he'd have to work with the previous guy's team wouldn't be a good oben!

And so the second instalment has began today ,. Up to the Hallamshire hospital bright and early this morning . floor B entrance 10 Uro Oncology dept.
Sat in waiting and observed men of varying ages entering , some looking worried , but most nice and chatty .
As we waited watching the large TV screen for our names to appear I realised that there was a constant stream of blokes of all ages taking up seats , as one left for treatment another seemed to arrive . (Get tested chaps age is not the major factor in the dreaded Prostrate symptoms are )
With you pal - let us know the progress

They're talking to Potter,he'd be better off staying at Brighton.
Well, would you move for a lot more money and a longer contract? Even if they sack you in 6 months, with a contract say double your current wages and a 3 year contract, and Chelesea on your CV, you'd be far better off financially and probably in the sights of other top clubs.
