Mums help me!!! At end of my tether!
lizelard replied to Babooshka's topic in Padders' Bar: General Discussions
Did you have an easy birth? I'm sure i once read something about babies skulls being "offline" (not scaremongering here!) and they went to an osteopath? for a couple of treatments and slept soundly and were much more settled from then on. It maybe something you can ask your health visitor about. Keep your chin up your doing fine even though it can be mind blowing at times! -
Parking Ticket!! & Potty Training
lizelard replied to lizelard's topic in Sheffield News & Discussions
bglodge............ Having spent sometime out and about with the Parking Enforcement officers, I would say that it takes longer than four minutes to complete the ticket I don't have anything against the nice lady who issued the ticket (much). on my ticket it says the offense was spotted at 10.27 and the ticket issued at 10.30. Sorry charlie your just going to learn to wee quicker! :-) -
Parking Ticket!! & Potty Training
lizelard replied to lizelard's topic in Sheffield News & Discussions
Bad luck. At least you've not had to start a post asking how to remove kids' wee from a car seat! Lol... yeh thanks Do you think if i had just left the car in the middle of the road with hazzards on i would have got a ticket, or just a telling off for obstructing the traffic? -
Okay heres the story. Driving down Leopold st. the other morning approx 10.30am. Charlie age 2 "Mummy wee wee" Mum age 41 "Ok 1 minute" Charlie "NO!! Mummy wee wee NOW!!" Mum "Don't worry you can do it in your big boy pants" Charlie "NNNNNNNNNNNNOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!" Ok Mum think quick. right i'll pull into this layby out side the opticians and find a grate (i'm not obstructing the traffic and it's not a bus stop). yes i can see it is double yellow lines stick the hazzards on and run around the corner thinking i may make it to Orchard square. no way. run back to find a grate with bursting bladder of a 2year old.Arrrrrhhhhhhh bliss Charlie goes in grate mum and babe happy. Whole episode takes about 4mins. Run back round the corner where the smile is wiped off my smug (my child is ace )face. Parking attendant slapping a fine on car. I explain. "sorry" say's said attendant "once it's on the screen i can't do anyting about it." Joy of all Joys after writing to plead my case I'm left with a £30 fine! Could this be one of the most expensive wee's in history?

lizelard replied to littleboo's topic in Sheffield News & Discussions
Obviously she's the one with the "learning disability" Thumbs up for reporting her little boo i would do the same. But why do the british public stand for this? How many of us would go home and think why on earth didn't i say something to this woman at the time!! Food for thought -

Please help us to get a mini bus for our children We are collecting tokens from the Sheffield Star and Green Un in the hope of winning a badly needed mini bus. The more we collect the better chance we have of winning. We would like to ask forum folk to cut out the tokens each day from the above papers. We have collecting boxes in school and also Key News on Derbyshire Lane. You can also PM me and i will collect. Please Please tell all your freinds, neighbours and work colleagues. We have only until the 26th June 2006 to acheive our goal. Many Many thanks in advance Meersbrook Bank Staff

Did you or are you breastfeeding a child?
lizelard replied to Titian's topic in Padders' Bar: General Discussions
Night time was really special, a nice quite time to just look at each other (arh) I think maybe the 3rd child was fed longer because knowing it was my last child, i wanted (selfishly) to keep him like a baby. i had to stop because of medication. when i stopped feeding all my children i felt really sad for a while. -
