I've got a relative of my wife stopping with us. She's driving me mad. She is always, and I mean always, late for everything she does. Now it doesn't matter if it only effects her, but I've been sat for hours waiting to go places this past few days, while she pretends to get ready. She made arrangements to meet someone in Hillsborough at 1.30 pm this afternoon. This is 15 miles away through traffic. She left at 1.20 then announced she needed to go to the bank in the town centre on the way. I was supposed to be going with her as I wasn't doing anything special 'til tonight, but I pulled out after spending 2 hours taking my coat on and off. I think it's thoughtless bad manners, she says she's just a bit disorganised. Thoughts any one?

Couldn't the government collect all the heroin seized in the UK, put a lethal poison in it. Announce that a dangerous batch is on the streets, and actually release it. It would save us all a lot of time, money and heartache. How many would stop? Discuss.

I have recently left the health service after 27 years working as a senior nurse. Please don't presume you know best. I have lost count of the number of clients who have REFUSED treatment because it would mean a change in their lifestyle or recreational drug taking or drinking. We could only OFFER services, they were often declined. Perhaps we should take custody of the individuals who decline treatment? I would rightly be accused of being a fascist if I advocated this. How do you know it is getting worse? What are you compairing it with? I await your reply with interest.
