  1. I told them they would never be able to demonstrate a loss as the was no initial loss. He was quite amicable really about it and understood where our business was coming from.
  2. Do you mean there are 87 buses in general missing?
  3. Putin is now trying to blame Ukraine for this because they are have renewed a campaign against the separatists. That really is trying to pass the buck. One wonders if the US/EU is actually going to get tough over this....
  4. Is the anywhere in Sheffield that sells single estate Sri Lankan Tea
  5. in relation to this car park: http://parking-prankster.blogspot.co.uk/2014/07/ukcps-claim-dismissed-judge-rules_14.html
  6. The trouble with that is that some staff on the phone for these companies are actually fairly decent. Being on the phone to them everyday and all that you kind of start to realise that. So i wouldn't want decent people out of a job Did have an interesting conversation with a parking company owner last week (i wont say who), but they rang us up, asking how can they win etc and why did they kept loosing, had quite a good chat. He was quite annoyed at the BPA.
  7. Its nothing to do with Lease cars, but as you point out lease firms automatically pay them, as a company we are starting to change that and some processes are now changing. Its a hard challenge but we are getting there. The reason these companies are brought it is because of the money it makes for both sides. One retail park owner in Chelmsford is paid £1K a week by Parking Eye just so they can issue tickets at the site. The figures of PE tickets issued per parking space is quite startling As an aside we have hit a mile stone today with parking eye. We have processed our 500th parking eye ticket http://www.parkingticketappeals.org.uk/2014/07/parking-eye-milestone/ As the average ticket paid price is £64, works out that we have cost Parking Eye around £32K
  8. yea saw that , you can read the whole POPLA report here, (its a pdf download btw) https://www.dropbox.com/s/f4do0ib5sz5xbhu/POPLAAnnualReport2014%20%281%29.pdf ---------------
  9. What you will find with most council type tickets is that companies will simply deduct the cost of the ticket from the employee, or the lease company will charge the firm and they will re charge the driver ---------- Post added 09-07-2014 at 20:18 ---------- A free parking ticket appeal (private) next time you need us
  10. Its a shame that you are so ill informed about matters such as this. They might not be able to lock you up but they can remove your car etc. It certainly isnt a "con"
  11. Not a problem was very happy to have helped you with this You were in fact our Thousandth (spelt right i hope lol)? customer!!! and our 100% record continues. Of all the work i have done over the years I have to say doing parking tickets has given me the most pleasure and the one I most passionate about doing!. It really is 7 days a week though at times.
  12. Is it like at beginning of scary movie 3 where she spins her neck round and then ****** on the floor?
  13. We can do this for you, if you want We deal with highview parking (aka ranger services) every day of the week
  14. This is very true, we have threatened to sue landowners (ie those at centertainment for breach of the equality act) and they soon sort out ukcps ---------- Post added 01-07-2014 at 14:31 ---------- We can help if you need us! ---------- Post added 01-07-2014 at 14:33 ---------- Does anyone know if ANPR Ltd have any sites in Sheffield?
  15. That Bonjon as you know is completely untrue. I am giving the best advice as I see it. I do this regardless as to wheather we are being paid or not
  16. With these things you have to decide which battles to fight and this is certainly one that isnt worth wasting your time over. It will take your more time and money to deal with this then what you would actually save with the possibility of increased costs if you dont know what your doing and it goes wrong So again bite the bullet and pay it before it goes any further down the line. I wouldnt advise it if i didnt believe it to be correct advice. You wont get any where with your line of argument no matter how correct.
  17. Personally with this case, i would simply bite the bullet now and pay it before any costs escalate, for the amount involved it isnt worth the hassle of messing around with magistrates courts
  18. Megathlic is right, you can DIY it or we can handle it all for you. Which ever works better for you ---------- Post added 16-06-2014 at 19:49 ---------- Was a pleasure to help you with this. Our second fastest cancelled ticket from time of order to email from PPC confirming cancellation.
  19. I wonder if a helicopter could get a parking ticket
  20. I think it would be better if students didn't live in student ghettos and actually spread out accross the city
  21. You are looking at it from the wrong angle We deal with over 20 cases per day now on average and none of appeals are based on anything that happened on the day. So yes you would still win if we were doing this for you, what happened etc etc, really has no relevance
  22. I hope your defence is stronger then that When you do receive a court claim, i would ask the court to stay the claim pending the out come of the Court of Appeal hearing of Beavis Vs Parking Eye
