I hate parking companies with a passion and the thought of being involved with any of them makes me sick! As people point out you can do anything for free, its all about personal choice, i dont force anyone to use our service. We are there for people who want us and we provide the service we promise -

Private Parking Ticket Megathread (Part 2)

Well these points apply even if no appeal to POPLA/IPC have been made Companies win by claiming their charge is commercially justified, by citing various court cases, it is a genuine pre estimate of loss, they have the right to bring the claim as per their contract The county court can be a real lottery Strong case on the monday can win in front of judge A but on tuesday the same case could easily lose in front of another judge. -

Thats actually wrong Parking Eye do win a lot of cases against properly defended tickets, as do lots of parking companies. I would suggest that you dont actually know much about county court hearings, nor do i think you realise how many claims are heard per day around the country I dont dish out "crap". I do this for a living. FULL TIME. I know the facts. Also anyone on pepipoo will disagree with your statement about not losing a properly defended ticket at a court. hearing[color= Your statement is very inaccurate. Do you know how many cases on heard on average per day? ---------- Post added 02-11-2014 at 12:00 ---------- [/color] POPLA will not help as such. People dont quite understand the proper processes. ---------- Post added 02-11-2014 at 12:01 ---------- Yes we deal with UKCPS 7 days a week and we ALWAYS BEAT THEM ON OUR FIRST APPEAL. -

Yea but it depends what market you are in, that then effects the rate you pay. -

Welll we use Google ads. It's very cost effective and brings in custom faster then a rat up a drain pipe. Was just thinking about Bing and who uses it -
Have put this in general so its a good viewing Trying to see what numbers use bing as opposed to google

That is correct. You then put your defence in and then the claim would get allocated to your local county court on the small claims track -

Reminds me. Keeper liability October 2012 , that is when the huge spike in court claims started (a few months). Was bought in to reduce a so called burden on the courts (POPLA). However parking companies fooled the government and the opposite is now true) -

Some parking companies are tame Parking Eye issue 1000's of court claims.. The current facts speak for themselves. I am away at a court case myself today. I would suggest you check ministry of justice figures. The point is some parking companies sue , dont ignore, deal with it. If people wish to disagree that is fine. -

There is a serious point though here isnt there. Flip on its head and think when children go missing, it always seems white middle class children cases are always reported more extensively than others -

Sheff71 Its a typical problem with ANPR systems Dont waste your time going back to Asda go to the smart parking website, they always fold on a first proper appeal. Very easy to beat I have sent you some instructions and text to use by PM. You should have it by now. -

You wouldnt just hand over a ticket as proof! If you had ignored the letters and then got a claim and parking saw this, they would most likely try and get you to settle on a WP basis or they would drop the case -

Why?., because Parking Eye sues a large number of people but not everyone If you think Parking eye cant contract with you then i suggest you read this judgement https://www.dropbox.com/s/7oekx8p459ogosw/Judgment_1905%20OCRD_2.pdf?dl=0 I know who id rather believe. It is not a case of me wanting this to be correct, but id rather believe a senior circuit judge (this is the case that is being appealed to the court of appeal)
