Wedding Reception On A Budget
bladesbird replied to bladesbird's topic in Sheffield News & Discussions
Its a very intimate wedding, with approximately 40 guests. -
I am looking for wedding reception venues in the sheffield or near by area. We have been fortunate to have been offered a cancellation at Sheffield town hall, on the 1st of July, so we are not only limited on time but also money. I am so envious of everyone that can afford to book these grand halls and hotels but on our budget we wouldn’t be able to afford it. can anyone recommend somewhere that could possibly accommodate us? Many thanks 😊

Hello, My dads brother as just been diagnosed with terminal cancer. He as a antique watch that was their grandfathers, that has a lot of sentimental value. I’d love to have this fixed for them, but have no idea where I could take it. Their grandfather was a expert in watch repair. So I’d love to not only have it repaired but to arrange for my dad to watch it being repaired. Does anyone have any advice as to where we could have this done? Thank you in advance.

On my last holiday I was bitten really badly. A Swedish women put some alcohol (from the pharmacy, not the pub..lol). It worked wonders and stopped the itch straight away!

Nail Extensions:- Do you prefer Silk or Acryclic?
bladesbird replied to laura16's topic in General Discussions
I always have acrylic, simply beacause I find them much stronger than silk etc. -

Hi, My partner lost his keys last night in Woodhouse near the Junction pub. I was hoping that some lovely person on here had found them and could return them, before I hang the other half up with his ***** If by any chance you have I'd be so greatful if you could pm me. Thanks

Where in Sheffield can I buy a real Christmas tree?
bladesbird replied to 5iron2's topic in Sheffield News & Discussions
I got my from a guy about 2 miles down the road from Todwick round about. Theirs a huge selection and their cheap to. Only £4.50 per foot. -
Hi, I hope I've posted this in the right place, wasn't sure where to put it. Anyway here goes.... In 2003 I bought a tv from buy as you view. I've since bought a pc and washing machine. I've always been in front with my payments, up until my partner became unemployed 8months ago. Since then We've really struggled with the repayments. On my search for advice I came across numerous sites saying, when I bought each Item I should have been asked if I wanted the warranty. I wasn't I was just told that I'd recieve my warranty slips in the post and to sign next to the X. I've also noticed on all of the agreements that we have been charged interest on all of the warranty vouchers and the arrangement fees. The sites I found the above information on, also said that this wasn't allowed. Can anyone advice me if this is correct and if so what do I do ? Thanks in advance.

I agree ( bet thats a first on here). I started a thread asking "how people were coping with suncream in school". I had 1 reply telling me "to take responsibility for my children". If I do have a question, I will now scourer the net post on other sites and as a very last resort post on here. Although my resent thread on flying with a cold, I did get some very good advice. I think the general discussions is better than the sheffield discussions.
