Was so nice to see parking wardens putting tickets on cars early yesterday morning, all cars parked on double yellow lines, on corners of the roads, they had got four cars as i walked past and that was only the first part of the road ( Cliffefield )

In the good old days you had your own street/community bonfire, all the mums cooked different foods and brought it out or you just called to which house was doing jacket spuds, parkin, hot dogs, etc brilliant days, had years of this and no one every got hurt or burned by fireworks, then the parks did good nights with amazin displays for a few years then that all stopped. paying to get into a bonfire is all wrong but communities aint the same anymore!! Shame that.

As the other thread points out Sheffield has a history with Millwall fans due to the lad getting killed in town when they arrived in a coach and also the trip into Woodhouse when they had played elsewere and decided to cause more trouble, but they were on the wrong end of it on both occations and came out getting a beating.

Went for lunch and what a shambles the service is, two of us arrived and asked for a table for 5, we were told we could not have a table until all the party arrived so told to sit and wait in the bar, after the others arrived we are then took to a table, i nip back to the bar to order drinks and the quite stuffy little bar person asked why i had come to the bar and what did i want and why dont you let the waitress get them, because im happy to get my own couple of drinks i said and also i did not know you had waitresses in carveries, well we got them and back off to the table, when we got back the girls said we have just had a waitress pushing for orders and not happy at all that you wasnt here and got your own drinks! it was not that busy. Overall, staff pushy and moody, food quite bland (expected better), will def not be going back. Moan over
