web1 Â Â 10 #14 Posted March 22, 2017 Thought England outplayed them in every department throughout most of the game, should have been 2 up at half time, chased down every ball and made a good German side look poor. Think some of you were watching a different game tbh. As for being overpaid they take what's been offered. Wouldn't you? Eric Dier bossed the midfield, Cahill looked solid throughout and Southgate tactics were spot on. Undone by an unstoppable wonder goal that was almost written in the stars for Podolski to score. Â Albeit in a game that means nothing, when one that matters comes along we'll be the usual inept no-hopers.
 Share this content via...

tinfoilhat   11 #21 Posted March 25, 2017 Round pegs in round holes which was nice to see and no Rooney so the game didn't drop to a crawl. But it was a friendly bordering on a testimonial so we'd need to wait until the matches really count to see if Southgate will sacrifice bigger names so the team functions better. MAC33 Â Â 10 #22 Posted March 30, 2017 Keane looks like a centre half with serious ability on the ball. Â He's going to be hard to drop! Â Move John Stones into midfield. He has more skill and vision than Carrick or Dier and it solves the big problem of his clangers. Â Stones,Lallana and Patrik Roberts in midfield - now that's got that continental feel about it.
