ALAN 58 Â Â 10 #5 Posted June 2, 2014 It goes like this we declare after tea, have a go tonight , take a couple of wickets, in the morning when it,s over cast bowl them out just after dinner. Job done.
 Share this content via...
tzijlstra   11 #6 Posted June 2, 2014 which is probably what cost us last season...  I was shocked to see a full game played out at Old Trafford last Wednesday, England v Sri Lanka ODI and all the predictions were it was going to **** it down non-stop. Of course the Sri Lankans don't like those conditions so it was over in 3 and a bit hours!
 Share this content via...

mediumfast   10 #9 Posted June 3, 2014 Finch will be key this year someone to score quick runs and give Plunkett and Brooks an extra hour or so at the opposition
 Share this content via...

Doom   10 #12 Posted June 4, 2014 Hopefully the loss of key players to England won't hinder us.  That's the biggest worry.  Root and Balance look like they'll rarely see much game time for Yorkshire and if Bresnan hits any sort of form he's likely to get called back up.  the selectors have also been looking at Plunket.  I think the batting takes care of itself, even with England Call ups, and there's reasonable strength in depth in the pace bowling department, but we do lack a quality spinner. Rashid is a good quality batsman, but his bowling has gone backwards in the last couple of seasons. On dead wickets like the one we lost to Middlesex, we'll be relying on a good spinner to get something out of the game.  Regards  Doom  ---------- Post added 05-06-2014 at 10:48 ----------  Plunkett gets the England call.  Regards  Doom
 Share this content via...
