We had a fella from Chapeltown who did our lounge (Crosspool). Took the lat and plaster ceiling down and boarded and finished - £280 (I think).

 

We then knocked the walls back to the brickwork, he base coated and finished - can't remember how much but he did an excellent job. The joiner we got to do the skirting and picture rail was stroking the walls.

 

If you need his name, I'll hunt it out.
