When I was little my parents sold the house and bought a 42ft yatch (as a dare over a card game). We had it moored in Durban Harbour, South Africa, and were about to sail the world when the damned thing was nicked by runaway teenagers. It was then spectacularly rescued by the SA Navy, who promptly got the rudder caught in the shark nets on the way back to shore and sank it for us.
