gaz678
To an optimist the glass is half empty to a realist the glass is half full everyone gets emotional 😢
Alextopman
There seems to be a few thin skinned delicate people on SF, mainly those who like to dish it out or post nonsense and have a tantrum when corrected.

Can't edit so I'll reply again, I've never been told to 'man up' and I certainly don't see being emotional necessarily as a female trait!

echo beach
I think the era of the ‘stiff upper lip’ for men has had its day. The role of both men and women has changed dramatically over the past century and the parts played by both sexes overlap far more than they ever used to. Like most folks my heart’s been broken a few times and I’ve certainly shed a tear at the deaths of my parents, friends and relatives and I’m not afraid to say so. To be human is to be empathetic, sensitive and emotional depending on circumstances. I’m thick when I need to be but thin most of the time.😃 echo. 2

pattricia
It’s strange with me because I’m very outgoing and confident, but if I have to deal with a bossy arrogant person I’m easily intimidated.
