Anna B Posted April 12 Share Posted April 12 I've been trying to get hold of a good Electrician since Christmas with no success. I phone them up, give them the details, (they usually insist on it being by text message,) and never hear from them again. I've got so far as a visit from one and a quote, which I accepted, then nothing... Waiting for them to get back to me takes up time which I haven't got, which is why I've been trying since Christmas. I now have a backlog of jobs that need doing. Tried all the usual; Checkatrade, adverts in local mag, etc, even an old yellow pages. Even tried through Age UK, still nothing I understand they don't like doing domestic work, which is their perogative, but how do you get work done?
