Unfortunately some animals, like humans can be rather horrible, I've rescued a few strays that have turned out to be rotten so I bite the bullet and take them to a rescue home. I can't see the point of having a pet that's not very nice as you will never love it like you would a nice one.

Give it some time.

Apparently it's mother was semi feral . The owner let it wander for days on end . Good Lady wants it to be a house cat , thats going to be a right laugh in summer when windows are open .

Cats and dogs that shed hair affects my asthma so because of that in the past had two lovely miniature poodles.  They are so easy to train.  I’d love another one but as Pattricia

said  you need to think about the cost and responsibility that comes with owing a dog.

As Pattricia said.............

I've spent hours explaining the cost and responsibility of owning a dog...

And you come on here and say "As Pattricia said"

Our 'Bandit' (cat) soft as soft could be.

You could rag him about, probably even leather him, not that you would have wanted to.

Such a loving pet, he only had one fault,

'He Hated Dogs' to the point he'd go looking for the buggers.

Working in the yard one day, hears this commotion .

Bandit comes tearing down't  yard, Staffy  close behind,

Turns, stands his ground & swipes the  bugger right up its nose.

It only took the one swipe,

Dog didn't want to play after that  😸

Bandit 1 Dog 0

RIP Bandit  ✝️

I've always fancied owning a hippopotamus.

I've always fancied owning one of those.

Its not as if we haven't enough land.

Beyond the field there's the river, and beyond that, there's the lake.

Unfortunatley  with the lack of an edit phasility the best I've been order so far is an 'Hippy Hat'

I suspect hauxwell’s favourite pet is anyone he is fond of because living in the North East I think the term of endearment up there is “Aye up Pet!”😆
