Has Anyone Else Got This Nasty Cough Bug That's Going Around?

I was just wondering if anyone else has got this cough virus that's been doing the rounds?

I've had it for the last 2 weeks and it's nasty. Sore throat, mild fever etc. 

Just having the usual home made remedies - lemon and honey with hot water. It seems to soothe the symptoms. 

I was just wondering if anyone has had it, & how long it takes to finally go?

It got me. I think it's just on the last bit now. I'd say about ten days to now, maybe a couple more until it's near enough gone.

 

I'm quite lucky, I usually only get a cold (or whatever it is) every couple of years or so. This felt different. A deep and painful cough. Fairly bad headache, and just felt drained of energy.

 

I don't take anything for colds. But whatever you use. If it makes you feel better...go for it.

 

Quite a few blokes I know have got or had it too. I'm sure plenty of ladies are in the wars with it too.

I tried those years ago, hated the taste.

I used to like those 'imps' - tiny little black sweets, but they packed a real punch. Can't seem to find them anymore.

I got some boring Strepsils from Boots.

You can still get Imps online , someone bought me some a few years ago .

Nope, no cough for me. It's very common for colds to be doing the rounds at this time of year. Your immune system should sort it out and a cup of hot ginger should help.
