Chapter One - New Cafe In Crookes

Recommended Posts

Opened by the folk who have the coffee van in Weston Park, and now opened a new café on Barber Road in Crookes, next to P.A. Jewellery.

Lovely people running it, great food and drinks and excellent cakes!

Well worth a visit!

 Boundaries change.

All of Barber Road is in 'Broomhill and Sharrow'.

Commonside is half in 'Crookes and Crosspool', a quarter in 'Broomhill and Sharrow' and a quarter in 'Walkley'.

The Closed Shop on Commonside is in 'Crookes and Crosspool'.

The Hallamshire House on Commonside is in 'Broomhill and Sharrow' as was 'The Hadfield' on Barber Road

The Springvale is in Walkley.

Chapter One coffee and cakes. Next to PA Jewellery.

Easy to find.

Enjoy, you can even Google boundary changes, post codes and geographic pedantry whilst enjoying a visit.

Have a good day, always better with good coffee.

Of course it is.

There are no wards called:

'Broomhill and Sharrow'.

'Crookes and Crosspool '

or 'Walkley'.

Neither is 'The Closed Shop', Commonside is in the 'Crookes and Crosspool ward.

Or is the 'The Hallamshire House', Commonside in the 'Broomhill and Sharrow' ward.

Or is the 'The Springvale'  Commonside. part of the 'Walkley' ward.

All three boundaries meet at the 95 Commonside bus stops.

They’re the electoral wards you’ll confuse a lot of people directing them to commonside in crosspool

Why would anybody send anybody to Crosspool?
