Sheffield Wednesdays New Manager

Recommended Posts

well suprised this has not been done ,who do you want or not want? theres loads of great managers out there,i would prefer a foreign manager with great contacts for top class loan players, but settle for a good english manager with plenty of big team contacts for loan players, but who will he pick?

I'd heard that Mr Tuna was interested in PEP...

... but it turns out that he was just sorting out his investments for the new tax year! :hihi:

I’d much rather have a good first division manager who is creating interest in the higher divisions than a name with little or none managerial experience.

My choice of manager I think we have a chance  getting is Dean Smith.

Someone to steady the ship.

I’d prefer the ship be moving in a forward direction.

Well quite, but it doesn't look that way to be fair, especially with the rumoured budget.

Anyone thinking we will be anywhere near the top 6 next season is living in cloud Cuckoo land. We need to stay up and Smith in my opinion would be the best bet to achieve that.

I agree with you on the top six, however I reckon that we must at least attempt to do as well as we can do, be that by staying up or attempting to go up.

Dean Smith,  failure at last three clubs so perhaps a strong candidate for S6.

Wednesday were promoted via the play offs, as were Sunderland last season. Sunderland went straight thorough to the Championship play offs and there's absolutely no reason why Wednesday can't do the same next season. Anyone saying they can't are either from the other lot or are just defeatist, fear not, we're on our way.

TBF the Championship will be a lot tougher than last season.
