whitehorses   10 #1 Posted March 27, 2023 Hi I don't currently live in Sheffield but I'm trying to find out if someone has died (Don't want to give out names on here) . My problem is that online records only seem to show deaths up to about the 80's and I want to know about 2022/23. I emailed the register office in Sheffield over three weeks ago but as yet no reply.I cannot ring them to find out because none of the 'Options' on their recorded message gets me through to a PERSON to ask what I need to know. So basically what I suppose I'm asking is..am I missing something? Is there any way I can find out about recent Sheffield deaths online ??? Thanks for any help . It also depends on when the death happened.
 Share this content via...

All BDM s are sent there from all over the country. you can get their details from the internet.
 Share this content via...
whitehorses   10 #10 Posted April 19, 2023 (edited) Hi Everyone, Just as an update: We found out what we wanted to know but had to resort to phoning local funeral directors who were very helpful, so if anyone else reading this is ever in the same position, the last resort worked for us. Thanks for all who tried to help. Edited April 19, 2023 by whitehorses mis spell
 Share this content via...
