Best value motorbike garage?

Hi,

 

I,m looking for a garage which to do work on my 1993 ZXR400 which is honest, reliable, good quality and not a rip off- as I,m only employed 3 days a week.

 

Can anyone recommend one which they used over the years and found their workmanship is high quality and they don't invent extra hours labour/ jobs on the bill?

One thing I noticed on Google reviews is people awarding garages 5* ratings for speaking nicely on the phone and being able to un/tighten an oil filter bolt. Now of course no one wants, or expects?, a simple task to be done badly, buts it's harder to get a review of the more complicated tasks e.g. seating valve shims, relining a barrel, rejetting the carbs ... Is is still Manhatten and RCK for this sort of work?

Id recommend Manhattan and RCK, wouldnt touch SMC with a 40 foot pole. Heard good things about r&g motorcycles, but havent used them myself

Had a tyre fitted at Hawleys last month, none of the old staff were there and it looked like theyd changed owners.
