Timbuck Posted May 9, 2006 Share Posted May 9, 2006 When I was a lad in the 1940's & 50's I went to Shiregreen School and a "Betty Bagshaw" was in my class..I remember her well co's she lived in Winkobank castle..One day She got a bit upset when the teacher called out her name at roll call and got it wrong and called out "Baggy Betshaw"..After that the name stuck Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
