  1. Hi, I know this is an old thread, but I just wondered if the youth club was in the existing church buildings itself, or the building on Hibbered Place? My grandparents owned a flat there and I'm trying to find the history of the building. All we know is it was either an old church hall or Sunday School type building. Cheers
  2. Thanks for the reply. I've been looking online fora while now and there are a few pieces that are very old and well known makes and look to be worth something. The sites I've been on vary quite widely with the values which is why I'm looking for somewhere local where people can see the pieces properly. Most of the pieces are ornaments, with the odd milk jug etc. Thanks.
  3. Hi all, My Grandmother has sorted out a box of old ornaments that she no longer wants and has asked me to sell them. I have no idea where to get this sort of thing valued so I wondered if anybody could advise me please? Thanks.

  18. Hi just wondered if anybody knows how me and my partner could possibly get to Brid cheaply next Friday and returning Sunday? We were originally going to drive but my car appears to be on its last legs! Ive been looking at train prices and the they are extortionate! Am really struggling to find coaches and buses other than national express which is also expensive. Anybody any ideas please? Cheers.

  20. Hi everyone, sorry if this has been posted already. I thought Id seen it mentioned before on the main wedding cars thread but cant for the life of me find it! We are trying to save as much money as possible on wedding transport and were thinking of hiring a few black cabs...and maybe a white one for me. Just wondered if anybody had actually done this and what were they like? Worth it? Also what companies do you think would be best and were they willing to attach ribbons etc to the cars? Again really sorry if this has been done. Thanks Sam x
  21. Hi all, me and my partner have just starting to do a blog, about the nature and wildlife we see while walking these areas( and some further afield, Peak District, Derbyshire etc) It is a new blog, and aimed more towards amateur wildlife fans, hopefully giving them a hand in identifying and looking out for certain species that are down there! We are a very enthusiastic couple, and really hope that our blogs can start to help people out, and maybe even get them as interested as we are! So please follow us if you show interest in this sort of thing, or please pass our website onto others who may feel the same. Heres the link http://samjamsamateurwildlifeadventures.blogspot.com/ Many thanks
  22. Hahaha! I couldnt stop laughing at this! This whole thread is amazing!
