Nagel
Nightmare for those of us who rely on it.
olilew
The good people of S11 will have to go all the way in to town to pick their parcels up now. Shameful!
Seepee
No they won't because most of us will be clever enough not to use Royal Mail for any future deliveries and start using the couriers who value our business and give better personalised service with timed deliveries and on-line map tracking. Dozer
Oh no! The lines at Woodseats will get even longer. At least the posties there seem to be really trying now. A few years back we got a delivery lockbox installed at our home -- a metal box screwed into the wall that the courier or postie can lock, and only we can unlock. Not everything fits in it, but most things do. The couriers love it because it means they can complete the delivery in one go. We love it because we don't have to go to Woodseats. In the last year, we've only had to pick up one package ourselves. Ours is called a Dormouse, but it doesn't seem to be on sale any more. Only the larger version called the Hippobox is available, but I think there versions available from other sellers. http://www.hippo-box.co.uk/
