Smoke near London Road

Apparently there's a lot of smoke coming from somewhere near London Road visible from the Arts Tower. Any idea what it is?

I'm nowhere near it. I was just told by someone working in the Arts Tower that there was a bang from the direction of London Road a while ago and now there's quite a lot of smoke and they don't know what it is.

It might be the building work for the new Chinatown. Can't see any smoke from my house.

Well as the bangs have been going on for the past hour, and there's no screaming or fire engines, I'll assume that it's building work so I'll stay at home and get my work done.

Sorry I live in Rotherham. if I heard loud bangs or smell smoke I would go and investigate and see if I can assist on anything , instead of staying put watching tv and browsing internet
