Things that are not popular get thru because the PM says so, and the MPs are whipped. Secret votes would allow MP to be 100% voting on there own personal view, surely that would be a good thing? I agree until when you think the MP would no longer be accountable anyone including the electorate. How would you know how your local MP voted on the Fox Hunting bill for example?
