You can buy that tool from Halfords its really good. Its basically a load of reverse threaded sockets made just a bit bigger than standard sized heads so you wind them on and then undo the whole lot... If youre really screwed with them, Sheffield Engine services can drill them out

They do not work on all types of nut some have a revolving sleeve on the out side face.

This is correct. small chisel to remove revolving band and a slightly smaller socket banged onto wheel nut. This method is used in all main dealers.

We recently had a car in with bolts so hard a solid cobolt drill did not even mark them.

The revolving band is often to close to the counter bore on alloys to get in.

It was a panda 4x4 we bought a special tool that cost over one hundred and fifty pounds and even that failed,we think they were tightened by garth using a scaffold pole.A chisel would not even mark them but the burner won in the end at the cost of a new wheel.They were the pattern type hardened and sleeved the best /worst we have ever seen,no makers name on them.

You buy a tool from a good tool supplier and do a search on here been covered many times before on here with lots of info

Ap tyres at Rotherham mint and charge about 6 pound per wheel

I had a Corsa with locking wheel nuts (sleeved) on alloys. The AA couldn't touch them nor could a local tyre shop. I finished up at Sheffield Engine Services next to the old Netto now Asda at Middlewood.

 

They use a tap and dye to get them off with no marks on the alloys. Fixed price per wheel.
