probably missed a few that ive not seen in the news, this one i didnt see in the news until i saw it mentioned in a Guardian video on youtube.

 

3 dead and the shooter cowardly shoots himself in Jacksonville

this one was racially motivated he wrote 3 hate filled manifestos for his parents, media and police. He had tried to get onto a campus but luckily couldnt and was sent away by security.

Looks like mental illness could have been a factor?

yeah sounds like he was taken into "custody" before for his mental state, still baffles me that people with known mental health issues can still legally buy guns there. would be interesting to know how his race hate began, was he groomed online, did his mental issues have a part to play making him easier to groom.

Grooming online could be a possibility. I mean, if he's vulnerable then he'd be easier to manipulate. 

However it happened its a grim but all too familiar story unfortunately.

sadly with the majority of mass shootings in the US its anger or a grudge, and the easy availabilty of a gun

True. Both legal and illegal guns are very easy to get hold of I believe.  

I like guns, loved shooting back in the day but if I'm honest I prefer our gun laws to the yanks.

Great days. Apart from the time I got a pasting from my nan for nicking the spuds she was going to use for dinner.
