Gwyther
I'm betting its a Robin, I work in Hillsborough and I have heard 2 or 3 at any one time outside when I'm on nights. I have found out that outdoor lighting such as street lamps and our works floodlights can fool them in to thinking its Dawn/ Dusk.
waddy13
Nowt worse than a noisey bird esp at night if you`ve got thin walls, wont half upset your neighbours:hihi:
timmy22
I googled this some time ago. It is due to the noise pollution in the day. Birds are singing more at night so they are heard. How true this is I don't know!!
cuttsie
Im intrigued by this noisy bird that sings all night, it's obviously nesting in the tree's over the river don down leppings lane. It sings ALL NIGHT! I thought it may be a nightingale but someone said very unlikely! Any ideas anyone? It's lovely singing really.. What a daft question ,every one can hear the Owls;) singing at Hillsbro.
