spiderweb
well at the moment its saved from the scrapyard..i got a brand new brake servo..bought it not half a mile away from me..that some one bought it for his rs turbo that he had never fitted..so after 27 years the car is taxed n tested having lived its life in a barn..is now on the road....the only thing..the mot tester had to say was about it ..iv never seen a mk3 escort in such good condition..and that it is as new..with no advisories..with 2 oil leaks..but does not come under the mot test..a leak on the gearbox/drive shaft...and the dizzy..both now fixed..felt sorry about the car tho..bought a new battery for it..connected it up..and it started playing the 80s music..the owner had left the old tapes in it...from the 80s...the wurzils...lol and the drifters... smithy266
well done, you must be very proud. Have you checked Motornutz out?
geared
Good stuff, rock those old chunes It probably just needs a driveshaft seal to stop the leak, while it's having that done a gearbox oil change would probably be good too.
