Chris_Sleeps
One could argue that infiltration of enemy forces is a good war tactic, and has been used by the Talban in Afghanistan. You have a very low view of all our armed forces if you think that we've got 600 undercover Taliban and nobody has noticed.
truman
I never said you did think otherwise. I asked a question. And you got your answer.. you're after an argument that isn't there Chris...

Didn't the Taliban infiltrate Afghan forces and then kill our lads, did they look or act any differantly to the non Taliban troops, didn't the Russians, Americans and the British all have sleeper agents serving in high position of the oposing side. A sleeper agent is a spy who is placed in a target country or organization, not to undertake an immediate mission, but rather to act as a potential asset if activated. How is it relevant to the fact that there are Muslims in the British Army? Are you suggesting they're a threat?

The Nazis also used sleeper agents to infiltrate enemy forces and they even hatched plans for a “Fourth Reich” by planting sleeper cells in post-war Europe. You dipstick! Muslims have served in the British armed services in both world wars, if they were sleeper cells they must have been the Islamic equivalent of Rip Van Winkle. I know, they also served alongside me during the Falkland’s war. They also fought against us during the world wars; they even fight amongst each other. Go figure. mafya
Didn't the Taliban infiltrate Afghan forces and then kill our lads, did they look or act any differantly to the non Taliban troops, didn't the Russians, Americans and the British all have sleeper agents serving in high position of the oposing side. Somebody on Sf once said muslims don't serve in our armed forces and what not and now that we know that quite a few do serve in the forces we have you insinuating that they could be sleeper agents! When muslims are spoken of in a positive way someone always pops up to add some negativity into the mix. = http://frontpagemag.com/2013/dgreenfield/muslim-soldier-stabber-in-france-was-also-convert/ Edited May 29, 2013 by mafya
