DaFoot   10 #15 Posted April 24, 2013 It was a Minolta 50mm f1.7. Though since I got the Sony 16-50mm f2.8 SSM that has largely replaced the 50mm lens as my go-to lens.
 Share this content via...
chrisp7091 Â Â 10 #16 Posted April 24, 2013 A vote for a standard kit lense. Nikon 18-105. Got it cheap on Ebay - 115 quid. Only issue I have with it is that the max aperture isn't very wide. Blistering sharp, though... Â
 Share this content via...

Trupix   10 #20 Posted May 17, 2013 I love my 85mm prime but I think I would find it too restrictive to be my main lens..
 Share this content via...
Henry8 Â Â 10 #21 Posted May 18, 2013 I tend to use my 24-105 f4 zoom more than any other. However I love the 50mm Sigma f1.4 on my Canon. It gives a superb bokeh
 Share this content via...

Henry8 Â Â 10 #23 Posted May 20, 2013 My workhorse is my 24-105 f4.0 Canon L. It is a fantastic lens as a standard zoom. Of course you cannot beat primes and my number 1 lens which does not get as much use as it deserves is my Sigma 50mm f1.4. It creates a beautiful bokeh and is as solid as a rock. Beautiful images, bright and crisp as you can get. Far superior to the Canon L lens. I think my next lens investment will be either 85mm Sigma or 85mm Canon. I favour the Sigma at the moment.
