  1. I have just decommissioned my darkroom and have a lot of stuff. Some I am selling and some for free. I am in nether edge if you are interested.
  2. I am also after something similar. Doesn't have to be huge. Just something where I can leave my stuff safely.
  3. I have a Fender strat that needs an overhaul and set up. Any recommendations appreciated .I live near Richtone if anyone has any experience with them. Cheers
  4. The lenses should fit on any Canon DSLR but they might not behave in the same way unless the camera has a full frame sensor. If the camera has a smaller sensor then the effective focal length will be larger so 80mm on a film camera might turn out to be 120mm on a DSLR. With developing there are places in Sheffield like Peak Imaging that do it. It is cheaper to do it yourself especially black and white.
  5. Loads of people still use film. http://www.apug.org http://www.film-and-darkroom-user.org.uk http://www.filmwasters.com http://www.theonlinedarkroom.com/ etc.
  6. I recently switched to Linux. Comes with practically everything I need plus it's free.
  7. I am a dog owner and I despair sometimes when other dog owners give us all a bad name. We always carry bags and clean up after our pooch, but I have seen a lot of dog owners who don't especially in places like Ecclesall woods where there is often no-one around to notice. The ones who hang the bags from trees (as if that is acceptable) really amaze me. They are beyond the pale.
  8. Thanks, Halibut. Yes JLB is a great writer.
  9. Lith print on Foma Fomabrom Variant 111 in Moersch SE5 50a+50b+20d+1000 water. Selenium toned. Camera was a Fuji rangefinder (645 format). ---------- Post added 17-11-2013 at 10:53 ---------- Another one: Lith print on Fomatone MG classic with Fotospeed LD20 (25a+25b+950, +500 old brown). Same camera. ---------- Post added 17-11-2013 at 10:56 ---------- And another: Lith print on Fomatone MG classic with Fotospeed LD20 (25a+25b+950, +500 old brown).
  10. Thanks. Redscale film is just C41 I think so no problem. I have an original Diana I got of ebay for about £10. It might be worth a look. Where in Ireland? I used to live in Galway.
  11. Expired film can be OK but sometimes loses speed and gets fogged. If it's been stored in a fridge or freezer film lasts longer. You just have to experiment with it. I don't spend a lot of time developing film at the moment because I have been too busy, but I like to keep things simple so I tend to use the same films and developers (FP4 and Tri-X film and LC29 and Diafine developers). I have been printing old negatives in the darkroom which I only set up a couple of months ago. Some results are here: http://www.ipernity.com/doc/306885/album/374281 http://www.ipernity.com/doc/306885/album/354941
  12. I only do black and white, but I do have a jobo colour processor but I don't use it for C41.
  13. I do film and digital. I have 35mm, medium format and large format cameras. I also have a darkroom in the basement.
  14. I like medium format rangefinders as well. I currently use a Bronica RF645 but you can pick up the Fuji 645s pretty cheaply. They are nice cameras.
  15. I have several prints hanging on my walls, some digital and some analogue. Most people cannot tell the difference.
