Just found another really bad one this morning,Stephen Hill,Bolehill Rd.

I've just driven along the road I live on (Totley Brook Road) and before you scoff,and say that the roads in S17 are paved with gold,this one isn't.

 

It's appalling. Half way down it are 2 bloody great potholes the size of Hope Valley,and the rest of the road is patched up to hell. I'm due to put the car in for its MOT and already I can hear the sound of my shock absorber saying it's knackered,thanks to not only driving on this road,but what must the worst kept roads in Western Europe.

 

Even the roads on most small Greek Islands are better kept than the main arterial road system of one of the UK's biggest cities.And frankly,its a disgrace.So where's the £2 Billion promised on fixing our city streets being spent?

Woodroyd road deepcar,parkside road hillsborough,stanwood road stannington.There is a massive pothole on derek dooley way as well that i have to swerve round on my way home from work.

Loxley Road, you turn a corner from another road, and its there before you can see it.

Got to be Deerlands Ave (the bottom section from Barnsley Rd up to the first roundabout). Its a right bone shaker.

 

Snapped my drivers spring and totalled the strut on there.

Deerlands Ave and hartley brook rd after shops are both really bad

I visit my relatives in Hillsborough nearly every week coming from Rotherham and Meadowbank Road is that bad I take a detour to travel via the Parkway and the new system in Sheffield to get there adding about five miles to the journey but saves damaging the car.

The local councils don't appear to give a stuff about it either.
