  1. I rang Excel Taxis for a cab from the Northern General to my home. The man there said they weren't picking up from some parts of the city, but I was lucky.
  2. Did he own the Mojo Club in Sheffield? Sad news.
  3. Whoever did this is sick in the head. They ought to remember that God does not pay his debts in money.
  4. I'm the Mother in Mothers Pride, you know. They named it after me. (Thora Hird bread ad). Go to work on an egg.
  5. It's easy girls, boys know what's meant When you brush your teeth with Pepsodent. ---------- Post added 28-02-2018 at 17:34 ---------- A Mars a day helps you work, rest and play.
  6. I have had the same experience with the Northern General. Letter arrived two days after my scan had been done there.
  7. Barnsley postcodes S70 to S75. When I worked for Royal Mail, who give out the postcodes, I had a hand in it. Hope this helps.
  8. The same thing happened to me at the Northern General last Monday. I was forty minutes late for my appointment, after trying to gt a parking space for half an hour. For me too, it's the bus in future. One of the car parks was only half full, but the attendant said it was for staff parking only.
  9. I never went to the church, but I did meet Mr Turner. I also met a lovely lady from the church. Her name was Mrs Hickman, but we always called her Aunty Daisy. They came to our house, and it s amazing the things Mt Turner told us. His features seemed to change too. Of course this is many years ago,I was only a child, but the memory stays with me.
  10. You should all report this to the Royal Mail Customer Service Centre. 0845 7740740.
  11. Crampton and Moore still have a rather large shop at 109/11 High Street Ecclesfield. It's a good shop too.
  12. I saw Alan Price and Georgie Fame at the Cavendish Cub in 1967. If I remember rightly, the dance floor rose and became the stage.
