Isabelle
The Q Park Charles Street has an offer on where it won't cost you more than £5 to park there while you go to a show at the theatre, and your first hour is free. I have a leaflet here, and it says to ask for a voucher from a member of the Front of House team.
willman
There are adequate public transport options, including park & ride facilities for the city centre. If you want to park in the centre then you pay the premium for it. Â There are only adequate options for some people, we try to make an evening of it. Allowing a minimum of two hours travelling time doesn't give you time to do anything except turn up watch a performance and the go straight home. Â But if thats the view, that paying for trams and buses to national companies and depriving the smaller bistros of clients then i'll continue to visit other cities. tbtc
This has been brought up a lot. Â It has - NCP charge what they do because it's a premium location (for the cinema, theatres, O2 etc) and because that's what people will pay for it. Â They charge more for their equivalent car parks in the middle of other cities too.
