Marx
I used to take my boy down to Rileys for the 'two hours for six quid' deal a couple of times a week. It was usually pretty dead and we had our choice of tables. However, we found the group of 'regulars' sat under the big screen quite off-putting, particularly when they were effing and blinding in an otherwise empty club, to the point where we stopped going. Random Shout
Really sad that Riley's at Intake has closed, went down tonight and saw the sign on the door.
Hedgehog50
Intake Rileys wanting shutting years ago. Was run in a very shoddy way. If all of them that have shut had been managed correctly maybe none would have shut. Buisnessess are unable to survive if you dont generate trade and deliver to customer needs. damophoto
More than 600 jobs and 78 clubs at Rileys Sports Bars across the UK have been secured after the company has been bought from Administration by private investors. The move safeguards snooker, pool and sports bars around the country and will allow the name, Rileys, one of the best known in leisure and sport in Britain, to continue on the high street. Regrettably 146 jobs will be lost (44 full-time and 102 part-time) and 25 clubs will cease trading as part of the Administration process which is overseen by KPMG.
