AJ sheffield
are the bin men working monday and tuesday this week. Maybe they will use the time off to read up on some more health and safety rubbish to fuel their work shy attitude.

They don't claim benefits, they have jobs emptying bins! And no, I am NOT workshy before anyone even goes there.

Happ Hazzard
Bin men are lazy sods. They have one of the easiest jobs on the planet and still want time off. The old bin men were miles better, they used to have to carry metal bins on their backs and they never complained, nor did they expect the customer to do their job for them. medusa
Why does a thread asking a simple question have to turn into a character assassination? Give it up people.
nikki-red
take it no one knows then. :loopy: From the Veolia website........... Q. Does the black bin service operate on Bank Holidays? A. Yes, we work on all bank holidays apart from during Christmas and New Year. If your collection is affected at Christmas/New Year a tag will be hung on your black bin showing collection details over the holiday period.
