Dentist city road

Recommended Posts

I have been there , my partner and children . To be honest I am not happy with there service But as we needed an NHS dentist that was taking on NHS we had little choice, it is in great need of paint , cleaning .

I am now in the process of finding a private dentist and paying for treatment for the family as I feel this would be more better for the health of our families teeth.

The man who does the treatment at this practice says one thing on one visit then you go for your treatment only to be told at the follow up appointment that more treatment is needed, then you come home do a little research on what he is/has recommended to find out he is not allowed to carry this treatment out himself but it needs a "specialist" to do the treatment

To be honest it's a back street dentist with a back street attitude , that is my opinion ,as though he should not be in practice

Again my experience and thoughts

I know its expensive but going to a private dentist has been one of the best things I have done, plus because you often see a seperate hygeinist they teach you how to really look after your teeth which could save you money in the long term reducing the need for future treatment,

I was with a good nhs dentist but even then always thought that they were in a rush.

thank you for the feedback!

i meant to add that the first time i went he said i needed fillings and a clean and polish,

when i went for the work done he didnt look at my notes and said something different,

when i tiold him he had already said what i need he looked at the noted and said yeah im right.

then after the filling i asked if he was guna do the clean and polish and he said no:/

something just doesnt add up!

and im really not trying to slander this place at all the staff seem nice but its put me off a little but the way things have gone
