Hi, Id like to share our new short/long stay respite centre with you. Here is the link to our Carehome.co.uk page: http://www.carehome.co.uk/carehome.cfm/searchazref/65432213080 We also have a facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/wathwoodlodge/?fref=nf The website should be finished this week and I will post the link. I'm not posting this as a business advert but more to show what we have to offer to people who need respite. Regards, Liam

I had faith it was true. It's likely to the the Barnsley one! So the story goes that the lion used to sleep in an old jag. Recon that's true as well?

At risk of getting the Micky took here I know... Been listening to the radio today about the elephant that helped out in the scrap yard during the war... And that there were tigers about Sheffield around that time too.. Anyway some years ago my uncle told me that there was a scrap yard in Sheffield that had a lion. Ok stop laughing. He had no reason to lie to me about it.. I'm in my 30s so not like it's some story he told me to entertain me! Has anyone else heard of this? He's in his 60s I think so might be one for the old timers on here? I hope it's got some truth to it otherwise I'm guna look a right berk

Without being mean, But asking for friends on a public forum because you cant find any in real life (despite having "many acquaintances" and a job in a bar) is not giving off a great impression of you or your personality. Whats wrong with you?

It's the one up in the industrial estate behind the nice looking dentist which is on city road itself. And what I'm looking for by this thread is other people who use this dentist to reply with their experiences of it. As I am new to it I want some feedback from other customers! I do not have a chip on my shoulder at all I'm just unhappy with something and wanted to know if I was the only one! Thank you

but at the same time there could have been nothing wrong with mine or your teeth and we just trust this guy because hes a dentist. im down £50, in constant pain and really dont want to go back to this place now! its a vile place! im pretty sure he didnt change his gloves between treating my wife and then me!

first of all sorry to rant and moan, i hate people that rant and moan... so im 31, the last time i went to the dentist i was 17! never had and issue with my teeth at all, not even tooth ache... the wife insisted that I sign up to a dentist just in case i need one so i said yeah ok lets do that... so i went to the one just off city road (dont know the name) first impressions.... DIRTY! RUN DOWN! SMELLY! COULD DO WITH A LICK OF PAINT... anyway so i went for a check up, bare in mind iv got no issues... dentist seemed nice enough but said i was in need of 2 filling, i said that i didnt feel any pain or anything and there were no signs of rot etc... £49 later i had an appointment for the work... 2 weeks later i go the the work doing my appointment was at 10.30am, the dentist saw me at 12.00pm. that was annoying! there were about 12 people on a room that was about 6x5 foot anyway so iv had the filling, and now eating or drinking anything hot or cold is unbareable!!!! even breathing through my mouth hurts! anyone else at this s**t hole? im meant to be going back in a few weeks for a clean and polish but i dont want too coz i think hes making stuff up to get peoples money! every person there was having fillings! i though that was a bit strange as it is! it was like a bloody cattle market he had 10 patients at once going in one after the other for the injections then they sat down then we went back for the actual fillings! is this a standard thing? where can io get a second opinion? im so annoyed i want my 49quid back!!

Lowdown is now in its 6th year as a club based in and around south yorkshire. We have been holding monthly meets since day one, infact even before day one So yeah... this months meet is on the 21st at Meadowhall Retail Park from 7.30pm. Please spread the word and make this the biggest meet of 2012. They'll be plenty of budding photographers about so make sure your car is looking spick and span. See you there!!
