Sudden spate of street crime in Crookes/Walkley area

It's still a decent neighbourhood around there.

 

Aye, I mean nothing by my comment, but I've been walking through that part of Crookes every other day this year and I only just twigged a few days ago that I'd never seen any of those houses for sale (unlike every other street in/around Crookes!), so they were probably council ones

We've always had low life illiterate morons bravely spraying their nonsense in the early hours of the morning. That's the height of their ambition and achievement. As for a mugging and a burglary these things can happen anywhere. Crookes is a fine area to live.

I think burglaries seem to going up in the area, not HeavyGate Rd as such but in other areas of Crookes, I recently got one of those police cards that said 'there has been a burglary in your area' and I checked the website that has local crime stats and sure enough there seems to be a bit of a rise.

Walkley has always been a 'rough' area in my opinion! To be fair, most areas have scumbags residing in them these days!
