The Mcanns got the MET, the Needhams got no-one. Why?

Its sad for both lots of parents, the Needhams and the McCanns, but today is the fifth anniversary of Maddys disapearance.

 

I remember some years ago a thread on SF about Maddy. Lots of people were grumbling that talking about it on forums wouldnt do any good. I posted on the thread saying that the internet was a powerful tool, and any publicity was good.

Someone posted that "indeed the internet was a powerful tool" and they were relatives of Maddy, and agreed that all publicity was good. After all Maddy or Ben may be surfing the net one day and come across their stories.

The sympathy for the mccanns seems even more strange when you consider stories like this one

I'd like to see the detail behind the 'caution', ie under what circumstances did a 14 year old babysitting his 3 year old sibling, at home for only 30 minutes come to the attention of the police in the first place.

The Portugese Authorities aren't as easily conned as the British Authorities, hence the Portugese Authorities have closed the case on Maddie McCann.

just read that story about the 14 year old looking after his 3 year old sister for 30 minutes and the mother got prosecuted sheer madness i was doing regular babysitting from the age of 13 looking after one or two children

its not that many years ago that people went to work at fifteen

wow a lot of assumptions there and quite harsh statements to make unless you've got evidence to back your comments up. Would guess it would be in the Portugese interests to close this case - who'd want that happening in their back garden so to speak!

What do you know that no one else does?

They put 'They think' not They know'.

 

And a lot of people 'Think' the McCanns had something to do with it, the idea is not new.

The Portuguese certainly think they did. Why do you out of hand believe them, where's your proof, do YOU know something no one else does ?
