To be honest, the deaths of the 2 horses is not a concern.

 

What concerns me is the fact these animals are being forced to compete. As we all know, there is a winner (there always is) but has anyone concerned something else ????? yes, I'm talking about the horse that crosses the line last.

 

How does that horse feel? is it humiliated ? is it a fat horse ?

 

If we encourage competition, is not promoting eliteism?

 

I do think this sort of thing has no place in modern society.

 

We need to think about an alternative to the race, how about a grass eating competition, would that be a better way for the horses to have a competiton?
