Â At half time Irvine made changes, and sent the team out with a different phschy.(sp). He's had it thrown down his throat enough times that the subs changed the game. He may have learned from that experience (you never stop learning), and with the latest mauling, he may be ready to start with Heff up front, who knows? Â Morrison, Mellor, Heffernan and Madine (if his reputation is to be believed) ........... look a decent strike force to me. Are the players letting a good coach down? Â Which midfielders is he looking at? Irvine's no mug, and his latest signings appear to cut the mustard, so we may be looking at a real force in this league in a month or so. No one talks about his man management skills, but his reputation as a coach is second to none. He's got to be a better man manager than Trevor Francis surely? Â It's time for some of the players to stand up and be counted. Lack of endeavour from Wednesday players in the past have let down Turner, Sturrock and Brian Laws, and we don't want this bunch to add Irvine to that list. Â If someone gets hold of Irvine and gets him to tell his team to 'go for it', then we'll be a team no club wants to play against. Let's hope he has learned summat over the past 5 or 6 games. Sorry wiggo I couldn't resist it but I do agree with what you are are saying reading the posts on here the 'anti' boys seem to be split between him and spur now he has gone the only one left is irvine  Cheers.
